Molluscum Contagios – What is it?

Some of you may remember around a week or two ago I wrote a blog called “Charley’s Latest Find”.

I didn’t at the time realise what the rash was, but I have researched and realise he had something called Molluscum Contagiosum. Although it sounds horrendous and looked pretty horrendous, I have since realised that many children suffer with it!

After showing various friends and asking them what they thought it was, it would appear that at some stage or another their children had suffered and they had spent months (18 to be precise!) trying to get rid of it!

Well the purpose of today’s blog is let everyone know that the Earth Friendly Kids Red Clover Cream has been a miracle, I cannot believe it; it started clearing up the spots straight away and I promise that just inside a week the only 2 spots left are on his eyelid and even these are starting to crust now!

Amazing, amazing and every mother should have a tube, it’s not a sales gimmick, it’s a
definite store cupboard essential!

Around 12 months ago, my daughter suffered with a patch of dry skin behind her knees. She was swimming a lot at the time and we weren’t sure if this was the cause, not drying herself and going out into the cold, but with the Earth Friend Baby Red Clover Cream, we had this soreness cleared up inside 2 days- Amazing!Red Clover

So, if anyone notices any rash I, as a mother, not just a proprietor, would highly recommend this wonderful product by Earth Friendly Baby

We have samples of this amazing product so if anyone would like to try some, please do not hesitate to contact us : 01244 351368 / 351106 or info@beautyok.co.uk

Brittle nails

Did you know?

Your nails need regular buffing and massaging with a nail oil to ensure maximum nail growth?

If not  read on:

A nail buffer is not a nail file, a nail buffer is the one the nail technician uses at the end of your manicure!  Sorry but as a former nail technician I would frequently see people who had been actually filing their natural nails with a normal nail file, eek!

So in order to encourage your nail to grow you need to stimulate the blood flow and ask it very nicely to come to the top of the nail bed, massaging and buffing on a regular basis will make this happen!

Buff length ways and massage your oil morning and night or whenever you get the chance throughout the day, the more you do the better the results!

I alway carry Dr Hauschka’s Neem Nail Oil Pen with me, then when I am sitting in a traffic jam or waiting for my children outside school, I will massage it in and hey presto it instantly revives your nails!  If I am in a cafe ordering a cup of coffee, I will always have people asking me,” what is that and where do I get it from”.

Now I have not forgotten about the wonderful cuticle cream from Burt’s Bees but I keep this one in my coat pocket as its small enough for  a child to keep in their pencil case (which my daughter and her friends do!  this wonderful balm is massaged into my finger nails probaly around 2 – 3 times a day!

Top Tip:    Burt’s Bees Cuticle Cream also doubles up as a lip balm, honest at my daughter’s netball game last Sunday it really worked!

The buffing is easy done at night when sitting in front of the soaps or whilst reading your favourite book!

So go on  give it a go and see the difference!

Chapped hands

Which one  do you prefer?

Personally, I love them all and I at the moment I am using hand creams from both Burt’s Bees and Dr Hauschka, its not to say I have forgotten about the other hand cream within our store, I just like to change all the time, giving them all a fair go and last month I used Laidbare I felt it was only fair to give the others some attention!

Dr Hauschka Hand Cream is perfect for my hand bag, due its super slim size and Burt’s Bees Almond Hand Cream sits on my dressing table all smug that he is in the warm and not travelling around in my cold, dark handbag!

Dr Hauschka Hand Cream

So with the cold, skin chapping weather and the dehydrating effects of our central heating, why not give one of these fabulous hand creams a go?

The trouble is once you have decided on your brand,  you then may have trouble choosing the fragrance, as Burts Bees Hand Creams have five to choose from:

Last but certainly not least –  Laidbare’s wonderful creation, made with Sunflower oil and Aloe vera, oh and Vitamin B5 (thats the moisture part!)

Laidbare have made two sizes 200grams and 125grams, which is ideal as you can have one on your dressing table and the other in your handbag for when you are out and about!
