Cake!

We’ve been keeping a secret here at Beauty Ok, but we can’t keep quiet any longer, we’re so excited we’re all a buzz and jumping up and down!

You see, in two weeks time we’re opening our very first shop, a real live bricks and mortar one where you can smell the goodies and try them out!  We’re hoping that you will all be able to pop in and share the love if you’re in the Chester area, and if you’re not, come anyway!

The doors will be flung open the first time on Monday 21st September, which is a special day for proprietor Michelle Graham for two reasons:  not only does she fulfill a long held dream to run a “natural and organic” shop, but it’s also her son’s 4th birthday, so two birthdays in one day which mean good omens all round (and also means lots of cake which is excellent!)

Michelle explains “My son will have his birthday party on the Sunday and he will at  playgroup on Monday so I can easily fit the opening in, as he will be too busy playing with his pals and his new birthday toys to notice I’m not there!  And of course there will be a birthday tea after work!”  (with more cake we hope)  ”I am also having birthday cake in the shop for anyone who pops by and of course a glass of bubbly for anyone who wishes to celebrate”  Hoorah!  Cake!!!  (We know everyone likes cake!)

Another bit of good fortune is that Michelle’s son’s name is Charles and the shop she is opening is on Charles Street in Hoole – all she needs is a lucky black cat lurking on the shelves!

And of course Michelle’s lovely daughter, Olivia, will be lending a helping hand stocking shelves, (you’re never too young to start work or develop ethical skin care tastes!) and generally providing more luck for the store, and sparkly inspiration for her mum.

So as omens go, we think you will agree these are all brilliant, and hopefully will bring Beauty OK and all who come into the shop (and purchase some of Michelle’s fabulous products) loads of good luck for the future!
